...things unexpected...
I am going to set the scene for you:
Its 10:30 p.m. We are watching Secondhand Lions. The mom just asks her son, "Where is the money, Walter? Your uncles stole it, you know."
My dad walks in, we pause the movie, he says, "I have to go to Marshfield because my chest is filling up with fluid." So we quickly get the stuff we need, feed Maddie for the morning, although she wakes up and eats it then, and file into the car, and we are off. I played Freecell for a while, can't win a thing. I really am bad at Freecell. Okay, anyways. We get to Marshfield a little after midnight. My dad talks to this lady, the doctor walks in, my dad leaves with the doctor. I read a magazine - People. My brother sits there, my mom sleeps. At around 2, my dad and the doctor come out and the doctor talks to my mom, gives her two slips of paper for more medicine. My mom and dad talk about what we are going to do for the night. My dad wants a hotel, and my mom just wants to save money and sleep in the car. After all, it was 2 am. And we would be paying for a hotel for about 6-7 hours. So, Michael and I walk around the hospital, go to the ground floor, find that the cafeteria opens at 2 am! For breakfast. Seriously, who eats breakfast at 2? Anyways, I am way to tired to eat, but my brother is hungry. We go back up the elevator, and a nurse had suggested we sleep in the waiting room, she will dim the lights for us. So thats what we do. Michael and I watch the Disney channel, and my parents went to bed. I mean recliner, we slept in recliners. I went to recliner after a little while, and my brother went to sleep after me. My mom woke us up at about 5.30. We left and got home at about 7:20. I slept the ENTIRE way home. When we got home, I went to sleep until about 11:10.
So, that's the little news I have here in Rhinelander. Oh, by the way, my father is fine, and he is on 4 medicines. Vikadin (sp), Aleve, and two others.
I just asked my mom how to spell Vikadin and she asked if anyone cared about my news. I'm hurt. lol.
Sorry to bore most of you with the news, but I am sure my real friends care. Just kidding!
Talk to you soon.
