First day at RHS

I know you are all DYING to hear about my first day, right?

Well, I woke up at about 6:15. Got ready, got our first day of school picture taken, then off to wait for the bus. Michael and I saw a deer while waiting it ran across the highway. Then, the bus came. Michael had a friend so he sat with him. I sat across the row from him. With this really cool fourth grader. He's pretty much the best. Ever.

So we got to school, and the horrors began. Just kidding. I got into the commons, the main room, found Nathan Wilcox and stood with him. Saw a few people I recognized. So, then I went to homeroom. Mr. Linteureur [?] is awesome. He is funny and I like him a lot. He told my friend, Eric Klemm to watch his language, because he thought he said something instead of "shift". He was telling a story about a car. So that was funny. Then, I tried to find my locker, but guess what? No luck. Turns out #497 isnt in between lockers #1-1000 or so. It is between #1001 or so to #1500. Annoying. Well, anyways. Then, I was late to Algebra 2. Turns out that is going to be a REALLY hard class, because we cover 2-3 lessons a day. Ugh. Then, Global Studies...EASY. Then lunch, which I like because I have like 7 people I know in it. After lunch comes spanish which is going to be a cinch or sinch or zinch. Then, debate, which is going to be HARD but really fun. All in all, it isn't horrible. It isn't amazing or even "good". But it certainly isn't terrible. The halls are horribly congested. Some of the kids are HUGE. Massive.

School really makes me miss you guys, seriously. It's hard being alone. Not alone, but basically alone in a school that huge. I am so blessed to have people at the church trying to make it easy for me. Nathan, Eric, Danielle, Hannah, Becky, and some others. But that doesn't change the fact that I miss you guys terribly.

And thanks so much for all the prayers. They have helped a lot.

Jordan
